First, is Stone Town commonly known as Mji mkongwe. Many of the houses in Stone Town are built with stones. In stone town, there are many historical sites such as, People palace, Mambo msiige, Mchamba wima, Makelele, Mkunazini Church, Main market (Marikiti kuu), Darajani school, Old fort (Ngome kongwe), Old dispensary, Train houses, etc.
Also old people, since we get no freedom these people were famous in Zanzibar in different time with their history like Dr. Living Stone, Mercury. Baraudi, Said Sultan, Estella, Etc. I wish I could go into detail about each but we can’t finish them, they are long stories. Instead, I will tell you a little about the House of Wonder. Why has it been called the house of wonder? Because, it is the first house in East Africa to have electricity, it is the first house to have lift, and it is the first house to have water pumps. However, what is- amazing is it doesn’t have a toilet.
Zanzibar culture has recently become famous in the world. As we know, language is part of culture, and now

Moreover, tourists like Zanzibar because it is sunny every day and change their colors to brown. You can find many tourists lying on the beaches during the day, and they also play beach sports like volley-ball. During the sun set they like to take as many pictures as they can and they use them in their personal projects.

Lastly are the people. The people of Zanzibar are very friendly, and many tourists are surprised when the local people say “Hi” Also they have original smile and not plastic. Zanzibaris are also honest. When tourists are guided by Zanzibaris they always feel free and safe.
So when you think to visit Africa, you have to think first about Zanzibar where hospitality is. You are warmly welcome in Zanzibar.
